Privacy policy
VibeWaiting is designed to work locally on your Mac. The developer does not operate an account system, advertising system, analytics service, or cloud-sync service for VibeWaiting 1.0, and does not collect personal data through the app.
Information stored on your Mac
VibeWaiting stores app preferences, feed subscriptions, downloaded feed items, read and saved state, package progress, projects, opportunity receipts, and a random local integration token on your Mac. You can reveal the local data folder from Settings. Removing the app does not necessarily remove its container; macOS controls container removal.
Network activity
When you add or enable a feed, VibeWaiting connects directly to that feed’s HTTPS server to download RSS, Atom, or JSON Feed content. The feed publisher and its infrastructure may receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and user agent under their own privacy policy. VibeWaiting does not send feed contents or reading history to the VibeWaiting developer.
Optional Codex and Claude Code integrations communicate only with VibeWaiting on 127.0.0.1. They send bounded lifecycle state and opaque identifiers. They do not send prompts, source code, transcripts, command output, or repository contents.
When you open a source or another external link, macOS opens the destination in your default browser. The destination then applies its own privacy policy.
Tracking, advertising, and sharing
VibeWaiting does not track you across apps or websites, display advertising, sell personal information, or share personal information with data brokers.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains on your Mac until you remove it through the app where an action is available, delete the app’s local container, or erase the Mac. Feed publishers may retain their own server logs independently. Because the developer does not receive or hold your app data, there is no developer-held app-data account to delete.
Children
VibeWaiting is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes and contact
